Damien Cain is a German-born and Ireland-based artist who has been restless and creative since the late eighties. Beyond the music, Cain is also a vocal supporter of akt, the UK charity working with LGBTQ+ young people aged 16–25 facing homelessness and unsafe housing. And this Pride Month, he gifts his gorgeous rock-ballad, "Caleb."

"Caleb (JD Radio Edit)" is a piano-driven, pop-rock ballad about memory and loss, followed by a beautifully done male duet. Just two voices sharing the same wound from slightly different angles, and the effect is genuinely affecting. Released ahead of Pride Month, the track carries a queer perspective. It doesn't ask for your attention on that front. It just exists, honestly, and lets you feel whatever you feel. In a world that is so quick to spread hatred, "Caleb" is the rare queer ballad that chooses stillness.

Stream "Caleb" now and keep an eye on Damien Cain, because an artist this honest and this far into his journey is only getting started!
