Paul Jenner, also known as 50mething, is a skilled, and dedicated singer-songwriter, musician and composer from Ealing, England. We've worked earlier with the artist on his track "Gaza (on and on and on)", which made us face the genocide that people of Gaza live through every day.

Now, with "Make Us Pay for It", 50mething's attention is on the exploitative practices of the food industry. This original single highlights the long-term consequences on our health caused by deliberate manipulation of food products.

"Make Us Pay for It" has a playful beat; it flows in a way that made me sway and bob my head. The lyrics, however, go in a complete different direction to paint a dark picture of the reality that we go through without giving it much thought.

The vocals are light and airy; the funky elements in the background go really well with the artist's voice quality. The part starting from the 2:32 minute mark, where the lyrics just sound like someone rhythmically reading the back of good packages, is as addictive as chips are to me.

Have fun with this one, and take care of your health as much as you can, because these big corporations certainly aren't doing that for you.
