Kristina Stoimenova and Asparuh Boylov, better known as The Sunshine Duo, are jazz and blues enthusiasts, and it shows in their releases. They make the kind of music that teaches you how to feel before it teaches you how to perform. And somewhere along the way, they stopped borrowing inspiration and started telling their own stories. They draw from the golden era of classic blues for everything they create. And that is exactly what they do in their latest release, "Feelin' Blue."

R&B, Blues, Jazz, Couple, Duo, Sunshine, Music, Artists, Singer, Composer, Producer, 90s, Nostalgic, Ethereal, Blues

At just five minutes, "Feelin' Blue" never overstays; if anything, it ends too soon. The song is about heartbreak, about the slow ache of something ending, about that strange in-between place where you're not quite broken and not quite healed. It has this 90s-nostalgic quality to it. Ethereal is a word that gets overused, but here it actually fits. There is something about Kristina’s vocal range that's perfectly floaty and even almost tender.

Go give it a listen. And, if you've ever had a feeling you couldn't quite name, "Feelin' Blue" might just name it for you. Follow The Sunshine Duo so you don't miss what they put out next!
