Emily Ricks Sets the Pace on "Can't Catch Me" and Nobody Can Catch Up to Her!

Emily Ricks is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter/actress who has been spending quite a few years building a multitasking career. And now that music has taken over the wheel in her life, everything she's been building is starting to make a lot of sense now. Ricks grew up on a remote ranch north of L.A., with music as her closest companion!

Emily's "Can't Catch Me" was chosen as the theme for her new character, Éclair, in the YouTube animated series 'Inanimate Insanity'. The song perfectly mirrors what the lyrics are actually singing: paranoia, hyper-vigilance, the feeling of constantly looking over your shoulder. The production is crispy with its synth-dominating alt-pop sound.

The chorus hits like a door slamming shut behind you, yet wildly catchy! You'll be chanting "you can't catch me" in the shower within 48 hours, and I'm speaking from experience here.

"Can't Catch Me" is the perfect song to begin with to enter her fun little world for you, so stream it, add it to your most chaotic playlist, and then go follow her! Because whatever she's building, I want a front-row seat.
