Billy Caveman's Debut, "Ariel Cyclone" Is a Freeway Anthem With a Feral Streak!

Billy Caveman is a one-man wrecking crew, playing out of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He has decided that the usual rules of a rock band. He's built his whole identity around smashing primal Rock 'N' Roll energy against doo-wop. It works incredibly well on record. I love that he's feral when he performs, like he's not so much playing his instruments as trying to tame them.

"Ariel Cyclone" is his debut single, and my personal highlight about it is how unpretentious it is. The ideal song for cruising the 101 on two wheels with the wind doing all the talking. The guitar licks drive hard and dirty while driving me insane. The drums hit with this thunderous stomp that proves the song has a spine. But it's that Cascadian throat singing that really gets me!

Do yourself a favour and put "Ariel Cyclone" on next time you need to shake off a slow afternoon. I have a feeling this song was born to be heard with pavement rushing underneath you. Billy Caveman is proving, all by himself, that Rock 'N' Roll still has plenty of wild corners left to explore, and I for one am here for whatever he throws at us next!
