Dallas, Texas-based comedian, and singer Dean Morgan is here with his single "Monster Mash". The artist goes by the pseudonym "Sheldon Mashugana", producing goofy, lighthearted comedy, bringing people some joy in their stressful lives. Dean Morgan explains the purpose of his persona, "In today's world there is a lot of depression and problems, Sheldon Mashugana makes things a lot nicer and happier."

Halloween monster mash poster with man in glasses singing by microphone, moonlit castle, monsters, and title text Monster Mash.

"Monster Mash" is a cover of Bobby Pickett's original 1962 song that Morgan always wanted to perform as Sheldon Mashugana. But this one is moulded to fit the familiar hilarious vibe of Halloween, Mashugana style.

The track starts with a creepy but almost cartoonish bubbling sound, or monster chitter. It made me think of Scooby-Doo instantly. The song was performed over a karaoke track which sounds like a children's nursery rhyme. The vocals and lyrics are as goofy as the artist is, making this a perfect funny Halloween track that mentions all the monsters that we grew up with.
