Franklin Gotham has been building one of the more charming little discographies coming out of the D.C. area. This Pop-Americana enthusiast trio writes the kind of songs that feel half bitter and half sweet. After "Sunshine & Gasoline" landed incredible praise from Indie Dock and Radio Armazém back in early June, the trio is back again with the second chapter of their summer trilogy.

The Rickenbacker guitar work in their latest release, "Lisboa", truly steals the show here. And those vocals carry a hook so big it practically dares you not to sing along by the second chorus. Lyrically, the track wanders through a short and hazy love affair in Portugal. It has the kind of romance that only lasts a layover but still manages to stay with you longer than it should.
"Lisboa" is built for your golden-hour playlists, and that one friend who always seems to be falling in or out of love at the worst possible time. Stream it, add it to your indie-rock rotation, and keep an eye out for Franklin Gotham. We believe he's onto something incredible here!
