Bailey Grey of New Jersey is an artist whose talents exist on her own terms, not yours. She has been performing on stage since she was a kid. She went on to take up the Broadway National Tour of Mary Poppins, the premiere of Stephen Schwartz’s first opera, and many more prestigious titles. Ever since she released her debut EP "The Reason I Smile" in March 2021, Bailey has been dominating the indie-folk genre by balancing her growing discography and performing live shows.

Her latest release, "More Of Us", confronts America's ongoing systemic issues and encourages us to join hands in this fight against corruption and manipulation by those abusing their power. Bailey pulls no punches in her observations: while some celebrate incompetent leadership, and the rich keep getting richer and benefit from better healthcare, the rest still struggle to earn a living, let alone seek healthcare. Bailey describes the anxiety of stepping outside your door in today's America, the fear of watching injustice unfold in real time and the horrific tragedies you witness as you doomscroll.

"More of Us" works because the world we want to live in isn't going to build itself. But maybe songs like this can help us remember why we're building it in the first place.
