Irish four-piece band, Pork Pie has finally released the fifth and final track of their EP, The Raven, which continues to boast Pork Pie's unique style of seamlessly blending garage, funk, psychedelia, and post-punk, making them stand out in the modern rock scene. The track begins with an intricate, high-energy intro, where the interplay between the guitar and drums sets a bold tone. The guitar’s crunchy texture and the driving bassline bring an old-school rock 'n' roll feel, keeping the momentum alive. The song was Inspired by a poem written by Michael Stafford during his time busking in Galway City, The Raven tells the story of a New Age hippie marionette maker.

Adding to its flair, the song features electrifying “wah” guitar effects, injecting bursts of raw energy into the arrangement. Dramatic pauses and drum build-ups keep you on your toes, making you wonder what’s coming next. And just when you think the song has reached its climax, a beautifully panned, dreamy guitar solo takes over, offering an otherworldly moment of immersion and taking you by surprise. This solo lifts the track to a new height, delivering an unexpected but fitting twist.

As the song progresses to a heavier and more intense space, it brilliantly circles back to its opening melody, bringing the journey full circle. If you're a rock fan give this song a spin right away. Dive into the tune here:
