Soft melodies of Country meet the heavy riffs of Rock in Tom Ciurczak's "I Ain't Ever Growing Up, Vol. II"!

Tom Ciurczak is a singer-songwriter hailing from the Pacific coastline of South California. He is known for his bouncy rhythm work, deep lyrics, and mesmerizing melodies. He is inspired by the likes of Springsteen, Warren Zevon, Steve Earle, and the Eagles in his musical journey. Tom was introduced to the world of music by his father at a very young age who was a professional musician at the Military Academy in West Point.

Tom had his musical awakening when he found out about the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. After writing countless songs for decades, he started releasing his tracks to the public in 2014. He just dropped his latest album "I Ain't Ever Growing Up, Vol. II" and we just can't get enough of it! Let's dive deeper into it's banger of tracks -

The first of the Symphony is "Small Town Girls". It's a soft rock composition with elements of country music with its steady & shimmering drums and snappy guitars along with Tom's soothing voice with beautifully crafted harmonies. It's a perfect song for the laid-back Saturday afternoons.

Right after that, we got "Mexican Jail", with similar vibes the theme is a bit dancey now with poppy rhythms and overdriven guitar. It's something you would get to hear at a BBQ party to set the mood right!

"Lie to Me" switches up the theme a little bit without straying much further from the soft rock. This one is a melancholy one with bittersweet lyrics about asking back for a lost love while the music is still chill and will rock you slowly.

We are now changing things up a bit with "Day Drinker" with its distorted guitars and fast-paced drums. The song introduces hard rock and blues elements to the album, with its bluesy guitar solos and power chords, which was mainly a soft rock piece so far.

Next to that banger, we get a mix of Rock with country elements with "Not My Problem". The guitar work is reminiscent of 80's hard rock with its solos and melodies in between verses while the drums follow a beat similar to what you find in country tracks, making this a one-of-kind fusion. Tom demonstrates amazing versatility in this track by switching between melodic and rhythmic singing styles on the fly!

"Heaven" brings us back to the soft rock roots of the album with its soothing vocal lines which oddly mix elements of operatic-like singing with rock (who knew that would sound soooooo good?). This one takes a more acoustic approach with the acoustic guitar with its lush chords and the soft piano in the back. The harmonies are the cherry on the top though!!

Catching our ears next is the title track of the album "I Ain't Ever Growing Up". The song deserves to be in a movie with its cinematic approach to writing with that tasty-gnarly-lip-biting acoustic guitar riff. Complimenting the rhythm section is the addition of the bongos, while the Organ, the bass, and the electric guitar are perfectly in harmony with the outstanding vocals of Tom.

The album wraps it up with "War of the Worlds". It's a sweet conclusion to a superb album with a mellow sound. The track caresses you with its soft piano and the harmonizing of both singers. It's something you hear at the end credits of a drama film with a happy ending.

This album is a masterpiece, perfect to listen to on a cross-country road trip. It has got everything from headbanging rock tracks to soothing acoustic songs to get you rolling!
