Emily Daccarett's music falls somewhere between indie pop and cinematic storytelling. And with her latest EP, "Another World", she is being honest, vulnerable, and completely herself.

The title track, "Another World," was written after Emily went through the loss of the love of her life. The song holds that particular weight of love for someone who is no longer with us. It comes from someone who actually went looking for the right words and found them within herself. But I think what really holds the song together is its bittersweet narration.
And then there's "Clarity," the other track on the EP. Where "Another World" sits in the aftermath of love, "Clarity" lives in the rush of it, that terrifying, wonderful feeling of realising you've found someone your whole self recognises. Together, the two songs complete each other, oh so beautifully. One asks how you keep going when that person is gone. The other reminds you why they mattered so much in the first place. And personally, "Clarity" sticks with me musically, whilst "Another World" works for me lyrically.
Trust me, you'd be doing yourself a disservice listening to just one. Stream "Another World" now.
