Rewinding to the y2k EDM vibe with melliejellie and the Analogue EP "all about u"

melliejellie is reviving the old-school, 90s form of EDM, keeping the nostalgic rhythm alive. The art project, as they call themselves, reflects in the style of music created.

"all about u" is an analogue EP of three songs that have the Y2K, daydreamy vibes. The first song is "... looking 4 u" with classic beats and rhythm. The second song of the EP is "I won't wait 4 u", my personal favourite. It starts soft and slow, but catches pace towards the end and has just the right kind of bite to it. And the final one is "I want you 2 tell me". The titles of the tracks themselves show a theme of attachment, maybe even obsession, but also knowing one's worth and not waiting around for people who aren't ready to receive you readily and openly.

While "all about u" is available on most popular streaming platforms, the magic of melliejellie is best experienced offline.
