Justin Sconza, a Chicago-born singer-songwriter, has been doing his own little thing for years. From writing to playing to recording, all by himself. In his latest album titled "Fantasy", he explores the mind space where we all find ourselves sometimes. Where we live in our day-to-day existence, but at the same time, we are elsewhere, mentally. Maybe, reliving past events and wishing things were different or just wanting to hold onto certain important moments just a bit longer.

"What a Beautiful Day" is about spending a wonderful and memorable day with someone you love and hoping that it never ends. The idea of rain and sunshine in the same memory because that usually makes the perfect day, and easy to remember it. You reminisce that you were happy. You reminisce about the person next to you.

The production is layered and a little dreamy, with that indie rock backdrop. You'll notice that Sconza never leans into sadness in the song. There's a silent wish that it could all last forever, but alas, all good things come to an end eventually.

"What a Beautiful Day" is a song for the days you want to bottle up. The ones you think about on the random and smile to, unknowingly.
