Franklin Gotham Save the Best for Last With Their Electrifying Cover of 'Fascination'

Franklin Gotham! is a Virginia-based indie-pop band that has been on a bit of a tear this summer.

They're dropping singles left and right and building up to their incredible discography! First came "Sunshine & Gasoline" with its breezy neo-reggae open-road energy, then came "Lisboa", which, full disclosure, I had the pleasure of working with them on, with its summer song warmth. And now they are back with the final single, 'Fascination', which is a rendition of The Human League's iconic '(Keep Feeling) Fascination.'

This one is the final chapter of the trilogy. The band takes on The Human League's iconic 1983 synth-pop hit and puts their own spin on a song that basically invented a generation's idea of being cool!

From the get-go, you are hit with those pulsing synths. Suddenly, you're not just listening to an 80s song, you are transported to the era completely! The stacked vocal harmonies are my personal favourite detail here because they give the chorus that euphoric lift. It was an earworm in 1983 and it's an even bigger one now.
