Singer-songwriter, Eric Alexandrakis, is out with his latest single "One More Angel". The two-time Grammy-nominated artist writes again, his time to pay tribute to his friend Raul Malo who died of cancer last year after an 18-month long battle.

Black-and-white portrait of a person in a wide-brimmed black hat and coat, head bowed, hands clasped, with a chevron patch on sleeve.

Alexandrakis is not just loved for his vocals but also well known for his talent as a producer and multi-instrumalist. He has worked with artists like Dolores O'Riordan, Yoko Ono, John Malkovich, David Lunch, members of the Smiths and more.

Eric's version of "One More Angel" is a celebration of Malo's life as successful solo singer as well as genuine friend and person rather than a lament.

The song opens with playful guitar strums and the distinct sound of the accordian that's missing in most songs that I usually hear. Alexandrakis' voice quality is deep yet sweet, going well with the heartfelt lyrics of this track. It's warm, with that Latin-laced Americana vibes that for a second confuses you if you're supposed to be tearing up or dancing the pain away.

Do give it a listen, it's truly beautiful!
