The Friends of Norman Havelock, a recording collective out of Cranbrook, England, are scattered across Kingston, Brighton, Leeds, London, and Amsterdam.

Their latest single, "Too Close To Call", shares a glimpse into their upcoming six-track EP titled 'Country Pursuits.' The song is pure alt-country Americana paired with some dashing ol' school rock. The guitar work has that soft yet slightly rough-around-the-edges quality I usually enjoy in country songs.

Gardner is a country artist who came into the project through a 35-year friendship with bassist Dale Davis. Her delivery on this one is insanely commanding, which I was very much into!
