Singer-songwriter Tom Minor poses a very simple question with his latest track, "Is Everything Okay?" This simple question, however, makes you contemplate its complex answer.
Produced by Teaboy Palmer and vocalized by Minor, the indie-rock track is not just a question but is also catchy. It has such an ironic vibe to it with introspective lyrics but an upbeat melody. This contrast adds a humourous element to the track and its punk-type tempo. It makes you think of how we try to cover up our unease with an upbeat facade.
The lyrics, "If you’re unhappy, and you don’t know it what good is it?" will surely make you self-reflect. A minor has perfected the balance between self-awareness and entertainment.
