Born in Iran, Shervin Boloorian was brought up in the UK and is now based in Bali, where he is also a sound therapy trainer, natural sound artist and author. For his latest track which is a cover of Depeche Mode’s 1990 Electronic Synth-Pop classic "Enjoy the Silence" he collaborated with Grammy-winning producer Kipper Eldridge (Sting’s Brand New Day).Boloorian’s signature style is evident in this track as well as you can feel where his voice surges and where he holds it back.
This track holds emotional value to him as he used to listen to it during his times of trouble and it provided him comfort and now Boloorian has breathed new life into this classic, giving us that the same comforting experience with this track. The Gospel inspired structure comes from Kipper’s piano and organ, his collaboration with Boloorian has yielded this soulful masterpiece.
I literally got goosebumps when I heard the line “All I ever wanted All I ever needed is right here in my arms” that’s the power that Boloorian’s vocals have, it has a serene outro that will leave you rejuvenated so give this song a spin right away, and it will become your go to for your tough days.
