Rebecca Dow is Belfast-based multi-instrumentalist and creative force. She creates incredible music along with her musical partner David Sloan. They've spent time carving out their sound with Northern Irish shoegaze outfit Virgins before stepping away in early 2026 to work on their own discography. Rebecca is currently writing across five different projects at once! Released on September 11th, 2026, "War Against Emptiness" is an alt-rock song at heart with shoegaze bones and a whiff of grunge. The lyrics come from uncomfortable and confrontational places. There's a sense of exhaustion within the song that curls into anger. Rebecca's vocals carry it all effortlessly and the production is as satisfying as listening to her voice!
