OBLIK OBLOKI's "Forever Young" is a Synth Pop Song Meant to Make You Feel Playful and Alive.

OBLIK OBLOKI is a Netherlands-based collab between Sonam Plomo and Lennard Vaarten that was hatched in 2026 and has gained massive attention since in the independent music scene. Their music is as eccentric as the name is, and rightfully so. They aim to challenge the conventional structures that modern music seems to be stuck in, giving us music that actually feels alive.

Their latest single, "Forever Young", is an experimental synth pop track layering soft vocals with bright music. The playful indie vibes, bouncy bass, all made me sway with the music. The song starts off the way you'd imagine what a fun night out with your friends would sound like. And then, Vaarten's smooth vocals come in adding to its charm. The cheeky guitar riffs peaking through later on are a perfect addition in my opinion.

The success of "Eyes & Ears", OBLIK OBLOKI's debut single also proves that this musical project works precisely because Plomp and Vaarten's creativity runs in the same direction. "Forever Young" is certainly being added to my "favourites" playlist. Go see if it's worthy of being on yours.
