Decede is the latest emerging talent in the acoustic indie music scene. Their sound is very raw and unfiltered. With melancholy plucks of the guitar and the cradling voice, Decede speaks out and brings out all the stigmatizing emotions we suppress deep in our souls. Their recent single "Leave it All Behind" touches our hearts once again.

At the beginning, we are greeted with an acoustic guitar that sounds like a heavy heart, each deliberate strum gracing our hearts with emotions. Decede's voice has that old familiarity with their vocal tone flowing like honey through your ears. The drum and bass follow a catchy groove, giving the song that bitter-sweet taste in the chorus. The atmospheric harmonies sound like ghosts of the fleeting past. My favourite element of the track has to be the intricate arpeggios on the guitar, complementing the vocals perfectly while giving the composition a nice gloomy feel. Decede's "Radiohead" inspiration shines bright in this track. All in all, this is the perfect soundtrack to your autumn blues!
