Josh Jensen is an Americana acoustic folk-pop singer, and songwriter and his new song release ‘Birdhouse’ explores the earthy tones of the Americana genre that will transport you to the humble yet happening countryside!
‘Birdhouse’ by Josh Jensen feels like a 4th of July party in southern America, it’s upbeat, retrospective, happening, yet attached to its deep American roots! The lyrics paint a beautiful picture, my favourite lines were, “The shrapnel of this bomb you sent will be made whole juxtapose catastrophe into laughter for my soul”, this shows how Josh Jensen has a way with words. My favourite part of this track is its music and layered composition, the magic added by Alex Capron on the saxophone and Evan Earhart on the trombone elevates the song to a whole other level, today’s musicians shy away from adding real instruments into their songs as everything is so digitised lately, but Josh Jensen chose to stay true to his love for music and opted for the addition for true instruments!
If you are looking for a track that will make you dance around a born fire, or make you groove with your buddies, then ‘Birdhouse’ by Josh Jensen is meant for you!
