The Radio Addicts is a fresh new breath to the rock music scene of the UK. The frist thing that would come to your mind when you see them is "Aren't you a bit too young to be a rockstar?" and you'd be damn wrong as these guys are bringing back the punk rock era of the 2000s. The band consists of Luke on guitars and vocals, Daniel on Lead Guitar, Vincent on the drums, and the youngest, Jonathan, on the bass. Together they have crafted one of the gnarliest punk rock tracks of this year, "Scroll My Life Away"!!
The overall theme of the track is the internet and social media addiction of today's generation, emphasizing issues like diminishing attention spans, with some snarky vocals and music full of attitude. The track begins with a bit crushed guitar riff before going full blast with raw rhythm guitar and steady drum work. The guitar layering is unique, with dual guitars on different tones. The bass is the backbone of the track, giving it a catchy groove that will be stuck in your mind for days! The band's inspiration from punk bands, such as Buzzcocks, shows in the track. If you have been missing the garage/punk rock, this is your calling!
