The John Doe Trio revives the magic of the Blues with their latest single!

The John Doe Trio is a rock and blues outfit rising from the humble Kent County out of South East England. Spearheaded by the father & son Phil Woollet, who has been at the forefront of the UK Blues music scene, and his talented son Ben Woollet handling the bass along with another blues mastermind - Paul Townsend on the Drums.

Phil is the brains behind all the tracks and he has a very peculiar way of composing as he just lets his ideas flow naturally and they could be born in the most random ways possible! Phil's writing encompasses life and all it's highs and lows going over from the most traumatic to the most light-hearted events.

We have been binged on their latest single "Railroaded". The track is eccentric with it's fun riffs and hardcore rhythm composition. The track is like the grit of SRV and the smoothness of Rory Gallagher in one super awesome mix. The bass and drums intertwine so flawlessly you might think it's a single instrument! And good lord is that solo to die for!
